Since 17 August 2026, the new Act No. 29/2026 Coll. on the Commercial Register has been in force. Simplified formation of an s.r.o. remains available and needs no notary. Most guides on the internet do not tell you that. What changed
Simplified s.r.o. formation
We show you how to form your company through the state's electronic form, with no notary and no lawyer. If you want, we go through it with you.
Fill in the non-binding form. We will get back to you and send the guide by e-mail.
Money-back guarantee
If your company is not registered with our assistance, we refund the assistance fee. The court fee goes to the state and we cannot refund it.
What it costs
Since 17 August 2026, classic formation has required a notarial deed or authorisation by a lawyer. Simplified formation does not. That is the whole difference in price.

Firmáreň prices are taken from its public price list at firmaren.sk/zalozenie-firmy as of 15 September 2026 and may change. They are shown including tax. Our figures apply without a time limit. Assistance is paid after the introductory call, before we file together.
Who it is for
It is for a company with up to five shareholders, unregulated trades and cash contributions. The managing director acts as deposit administrator and the company has no supervisory board. That covers most new s.r.o. companies.
If you need a craft or regulated trade, a non-cash contribution or more shareholders, this route is not available. Write to us anyway and we will tell you what to do instead.
How it works
The steps are the same. The difference is whether we sit next to you while you take them. At every step we know where you are.
A short form and the guide arrives by e-mail. It contains the step-by-step procedure, a checklist and the places where people most often get stuck.
If your ID card does not have them yet, start there. How to check and where they are activated is further down this page and in the guide.
Name, registered office, business activities, shareholders and managing director. On your own with the guide. With assistance we go through it on a call and check the form before filing.
Signing and filing go from your own electronic mailbox with your own signature, as the law requires. With assistance we do it together on screen in one session.
You pay 220 € to the state when filing. Nothing to us. The registration time depends on the registry court and we cannot influence it.
Tax office, bank account, bookkeeping. The guide ends with what needs to be done in the first month. If you want, we take over the bookkeeping.
The most common place to get stuck
To sign the documents and send the filing, you need a Slovak ID card with a chip, a card reader and activated signing certificates on the card. The chip alone is not enough, the certificates are activated separately.
Many people do not have them activated even though they have had a chip card for years. That is why it is the first thing we sort out with you, not the last.
The form asks whether you have them. Feel free to answer that you do not know. It is the most common answer and it is perfectly fine.
Don't have them? No problem. They are activated at a police document office, with some cards also from home. You need the personal security code you received when you collected your card. If you have forgotten it, it can be set again. We go through it with you.
Legal framework
Simplified formation needs no notary and no lawyer. It needs your signature and your electronic mailbox.
Since 17 August 2026, the new Act No. 29/2026 Coll. on the Commercial Register has been in force. In classic formation, the memorandum of association must since then take the form of a notarial deed or be authorised by a lawyer. Most articles on the internet are older than that date.
Simplified formation under Section 110a of Act No. 513/1991 Coll., the Commercial Code is the exception: the memorandum of association is created through an electronic form and requires neither a notarial deed nor authorisation. It is signed with a qualified electronic signature and the application is sent from your electronic mailbox. Under Section 47(1) of Act No. 29/2026 Coll., in force since 17 August 2026, we are not allowed to file it on your behalf.
That is why it is cheaper: you pay no notary, no lawyer and no representative's fee. It does not mean we leave you to it. It means you do it and we navigate. We sell a guide and guidance, not representation.
